I have been teaching Italian at Nottingham Trent University since 2000. I am a qualified lecturer with a PhD in European cultural studies. I have written scholarly work, including a monograph, AlterItà, as well as articles about popular culture. I have given academic talks at Casa Artusi, the universities of Belgrade, Bergamo, King’s College London, Lausanne, Leiden, Liverpool, Milan-Bicocca, Nottingham, Nottingham Trent, Oxford, and Zurich. I have organized webinars about Alpine and Adriatic cultures with RecIt, Pôle de Recherche sur l’ltalianité of the University of Lausanne, and the Italian Cultural Institute in London.
